Technology Transfer & Raising Awareness

Together with collaborators, IPARC staff have helped to develop a library of appropriate training resources in safe and effective pesticide use. Materials on RPU for cocoa and other tree crops is limited, and our aim is to provide resources for trainers in correct diagnosis, appropriate decision making and control techniques:

• The World's worst cocoa problems (illustrated)
• ICCO manual: Pesticide Use in Cocoa
• Integrated management measures for the above
• Guide to Safe and Efficient Application for Chemical and Biological Pest Management
• Presentation: on the relative merits of participatory and research trials
